Most recently, she was General Counsel and DPO for a global SaaS company, where she led the legal and data privacy functions and supported teams across Europe, North America, and LATAM. She has a strong background in financial services regulation and extensive expertise advising businesses on commercial, technology, and data protection matters.
During her time at Co-op Insurance, Daniela played a pivotal role in implementing GDPR compliance, designing and embedding processes to ensure the organisation met the highest standards of data protection. She also has significant experience drafting and negotiating a broad range of agreements, including master services, software, data sharing, and insurance distribution contracts.
Daniela’s in-house experience extends to developing and embedding legal processes, policies, and precedents to support a self-serve approach for teams. She has also led M&A initiatives, delivered global legal training, and implemented horizon-scanning processes to keep the business aligned with evolving industry standards.
As a Senior Legal Counsel in our team, Daniela provides responsive, business-focused advice tailored to our clients’ unique needs. Known for her collaborative approach and pragmatic solutions, she ensures clients are equipped with the tools they need to succeed.
